| ORGANISING YOUR OWN CHRISTMAS PARTY? |
Not everyone wants to join a group of people for their Christmas Party – so if there are going to be more than 100 people in your party then we can help design your own Christmas Party.
We will be adding ideas and tips throughout the year and if you want to share some of these with others, then please let us know (ideas@christmaspartiesunlimited.co.uk).
You have a choice:
a) give us your party ideas, we then ask lots of questions and come up with party venues, suppliers and costs for you to make an informed decision.
OR
b) we give you some tools to do that for yourself |
| Here are some ideas to start you off |
• Wait until January when the Christmas rush is over, or take staff to a day at the health farm to recover from all the Christmas excesses.
• Organise a trip to a pantomime or tickets to a local or London show - its great fun and a good night out for everyone.
• If you are a small business why not share a party with your neighbouring businesses?
• Look at a venue which can offer you something different. A brewery? A race track? A barge or narrow boat?
• Get away from the traditional Christmas festivities – make it a Wild West, Egyptian or Las Vegas theme.
• Have a surprise celebrity or look-a-like to meet your staff – how about a Kylie, David Beckham or
• Go "down under" with an Ozzie theme – come dressed for the beach or as Rolf Harris or Dame Edna
• Get the party going with a comedian or put some magic into the night with a close-up magician
• Get your boss hypnotised and find out what he really thinks about you! (there needs to be a large group for this one).
| Ages mix - some people may want a quiet area to just sit, drink and chat |
Catering - traditional turkey or something different? Buffet or silver service? |
The location - can people get to it easily, is there secure parking? |
Will overnight accommodation be required? |
What did you do last year, was it a success, do people want the same? |
What is the dress code to be - DJ and diamonds or smart casual? |

There is no right answer to this! Some organisations book their parties in January and others leave it to November.
However from our experience many of the prime party dates are quickly snapped up. So for the best choice, the earlier you start, the better.

| NEED HELP WITH PLANNING THE PARTY |
