FESTIVE FLASHBACK PARTY NIGHT
Step back into the groove with this epic, high energy party night which includes a cocktail, two course dinner, live music and disco. Soak up the party vibe from the moment you arrive and step inside our magazine photo box and create your very own Smash Hits magazine cover, before enjoying a retro cocktail. 

Our live party band will take you on a musical journey with hits from the 80's, 90's, 00's through to modern day classics, capturing those fun memories with our selfie pod before strutting your stuff on the dance floor with our DJ.

MERRY MOTOWN
Join us for this magical night of Motown before the holiday season is over! This dynamic live tribute band brings back the soul of Motown with their outstanding vocals. A true night of nostalgia with hits from Temptations. Harold Melvyn. Drifters, Four Tops, Lionel Richie, Overtones and many more...

TOP OF THE POPS BINGO
Boom!! Time warp yourself to your favourite decade with this sell out phenomenon from the Bonkaz team. Eyes down and dancing shoes on for a night of nostalgia with your live party host where you can expect singing, dancing, outrageous prizes and bingo. Dance to top tunes with a throwback to the 80's, 90's, 00's, through to modern day. Dress to party... flat shoes optional!

CHRISTMAS WITH BUBLÉ
Michael Bublé tribute act Adam Parker Brown sings a perfect and passionate-sounding Michael Bublé. Adam's performance embodies the very essence of the soul and swing of this modern icon. A perfected tribute with quality vocals and the cheeky personality delivering hits such as Me and Mrs Jones, Just haven't met you yet, Cry me a river and many more!

THE ELVIS LEGACY
Mark Summers is described as the UK's number one tribute to Elvis Presley. His tribute to Elvis is a breath-taking performance packed with all the iconic hits that we all know and love such as GI Blues, Suspicious Minds, In the Ghetto, That's Alright and many more! Evening events are followed by a disco. There's lunch time and evening parties!

Looking to book a private event? Speak to our special events team who will be happy to discuss and ideas you may have or create a bespoke theme for you. Any theme from any of our shared parties can be adapted, subject to availability. Minimum numbers will apply.

FESTIVE LUNCHES
The perfect treat to get you into the Christmas spirit whether you are celebrating with family. colleagues or friends. We will be serving our festive menu throughout December on selected dates. Relax to the sound of Christmas music whilst enjoying this three course lunch at £27 per person. Not available on Saturday or Sundays.

NEW YEAR'S EVE GLITTER BALL
Dress to impress and be the belle of the ball at this show stopping party to celebrate the start of a New Year. Soak up the atmosphere from the moment you arrive with a glass of fizz and a touch of mesmerizing magic. Take your seats to enjoy a four course dinner, then sit back and let us entertain you with our spectacular live band taking you on a musical journey. Midnight celebrations with a live countdown, then enjoy a hot snack before dancing the night away with our DJ.

There's special accommodation rates to stay at £148 per person, which is based on two guests sharing. ticket to the NYE party. overnight accommodation, brunch on New Year's Day and full use of leisure facilities.

JANUARY IS THE NEW DECEMBER
Our very popular get togethers in January are back! If like us, you're just too busy in December to celebrate, why not join us in January for a 'not so festive' get together? Enjoy a retro cocktail before the DJ takes you on a musical journey through the decades, playing floor filling hits from the 80's, 90's 00's through to modern day classics. Dress to party!

BACK TO THE FUTURE JANUARY PARTY NIGHT
Travel back in time and join us in January for this flamboyant tribute to the 80's. Expect a night of nostalgia featuring fashion, live music and dance routines performed by an awesome live band 'Wake up before you go go' to the dance floor! Dress to party... Leg warmers optional!

SLEEP OVER
Don't let the fun stop when the DJ does! Extend your festive fun with an overnight stay from as little as £45.00 per person. Based on two adults sharing a double or twin room, inclusive of breakfast and use of leisure facilities. Rate is not available on 31st December 2025 and is subject to availability. 

The Clarion Hotel Newcastle South is located midway between Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne being approximately 5 miles from Newcastle and 6 miles from Sunderland. Local attractions include The North East Aircraft Museum, Washington Golf Club and Hylton Castle.  

It has 83 bedrooms and meeting space for up to 220 guests and onsite leisure facilities.
