Katie O’Brien’s Irish Tavern Durham is the perfect ambience for your guests! Katie’s is a great Irish bar offering warm and inviting areas, live music, a central stage and screens. This venue holds 250 guests (450 including terrace). Home to amazing live performers, from soloists to bands!

Offering drinks receptions, buffets, DJ’s and live entertainment. Depending on the day of the week and times of your booking, we aim to work with a variety of budgets; and promise to deliver a great event and experience for you and your guests! 

We take pre-bookings with packages for a min of 30 guests; smaller groups are welcome to the venue on a walk-in basis to enjoy our amazing live acts on throughout November and December.

From our festive cocktails, through to dancing along to the amazing live acts; this is the perfect ambiance for a party. Complete with stylish lighting, décor, signature features and outdoor terrace; there’s something to offer everyone! Located in the Walkergate complex, with a nearby multi storey, and a taxi rank is a two-minute walk from the venue. Durham train station is a 5-minute walk.
